Charity Shop: Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research

The Charity shop is in full swing with tons of new items and a new charity!

The mission of Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research is to achieve excellence in the rehabilitation of injured, orphaned, and oiled native wild birds, with the goal of returning healthy birds to their natural environment. We do this through compassionate care, humane research, and education.

Experts from Tri-State Bird Rescue and Research are leading the wildlife rescue efforts following the Deepwater Horizon incident in the Gulf of Mexico. Tri-State's oil spill response team has been on the Gulf Coast since the last week in April and is working with their West Coast colleagues, International Bird Rescue Research Center, and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to manage the rehabilitation of oiled wildlife.

CraftAnon 4 Charity has a new cause!

Experts from Tri-State Bird Rescue and Research are leading the wildlife rescue efforts following the Deepwater Horizon incident in the Gulf of Mexico. Tri-State's oil spill response team has been on the Gulf Coast since the last week in April and is working with their West Coast colleagues, International Bird Rescue Research Center, and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to manage the rehabilitation of oiled wildlife. These response leaders are receiving additional support from other rehabilitators and wildlife and environmental organizations.

*Note: BP has made a solid commitment to covering the costs associated with the response to the incident in the Gulf of Mexico, including the wildlife aspect. Donations from this shop support Tri-State’s mission and their ongoing efforts, not specifically the Gulf Coast oil spill. These valuable donations will help ensure that Tri-State can continue to be available for rapid response to an oil spill and to work with companies and agencies on proactive contingency planning and training.
